Meet the “Ball Thugs” a local flag football team from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area participating in the Mid East Sports 2012 Spring Flag Football league.  The Ball Thugs are probably one of the most organized and well talented team you will see in flag football competition in the metro area.  A diverse and skilled team; they exemplified the spirit of “National Athletics”; good sportsmanship in healthy competition.  Their outstanding performance in the championship series was worth mentioning and National Athletics looks forward to following this team during the summer league.  Well done "Ball Thugs"

The Bowie High School Robotics team is seeking donations for their after-school program that encourages students to use mechanical, software and electronics skills to build robots to compete with other students from across the country. Each year 30+ bright and dedicated students join together to put their imaginations to work and build their dreams.  They spend countless hours working tirelessly creating amazing objects that somehow come to life.  This program is severely under funded and it takes a significant amount of resources for the program to function properly.

Your donations to this program will go toward:

  • Materials and supplies
  • Transportation expenses to/from the competitions (local and national)
  • Travel expenses such as meals and lodging
